Nakheel Tower is a proposed skyscraper in the city of Dubai (UAE), which according to their final project started in 2010 and measured over a kilometer high. It was known at the previous stages of its design under the name of Al Burj (The Tower in Arabic).
At the time of its completion, scheduled for 2020, is expected to become the world's tallest building and the tallest structure built by man. This title is currently held on a provisional Burj Dubai skyscraper, located in Dubai and is in the final stages of construction.
At first, the Al Burj would be placed in the center of the trunk of the Palm Jumeirah artificial island and its height would be 700 m and 120 floors.
Given the stiff competition from other designs of towers and buildings throughout the world, Burj Al wanted to give a height of one mile (1600 meters). Subsequently, the height of the building underwent several redesigns, and one of my 200-story 1200, as amended by the current design of 228 m and 1050 flats, which is to be constructed.
This height of 1050 m is higher than its local rival, the Burj Dubai 818 m, and in turn is more than double in height as the Empire State of New York.
In late 2006, it was relocated to a section of Dubai Waterfront, a kind of artificial peninsula, built like the Palm Islands, and instead build the Trump International Hotel and Tower Dubai.
The last figure is obtained, is measured to be 1400 meters.
