Eiffel Tower

Eiffel Tower (Tour Eiffel in French), originally named "tower 330 meters" (330 meters tour) is a puddling iron structure designed by French engineer Gustave Eiffel and his staff for the 1889 Universal Exposition in Paris.
Located in the Campo de Marte by the river Seine, this Parisian monument, symbol of France and its capital, was the ninth most visited country in 2006 and the first most visited monument in the world with 6,893,000 visitors in 2007. With a height of 300 meters, extended later with an antenna on 325 meters, the Eiffel Tower was the highest building in the world for over 40 years.

 
It was built in two years, two months and five days in a dispute with the artists of the time, that looked like a monster of iron. Originally used for scientific experiments, today is, in addition to tourist attractions, such as issuing of radio and television programs.

Empire State Building

Empire State Building is a skyscraper in New York City, at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. Its name derives from the nickname of the state of New York. It was the world's tallest building for over forty years since its completion in 1931 until 1972, when it completed the construction of the North Tower of the World Trade Center. After the destruction of the World Trade Center in 2001, the Empire State Building again became the tallest building in New York City and State of New York.

The Empire State Building has been named by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of the Seven Wonders of the modern world. The building and its interior monuments are appointed by the Commission for the Preservation of New York City, and confirmed by the Board of Estimate of City of New York. Was designated as a National Historic Monument in 1986. In 2007, he was number one on the list of favorite American buildings. The building is owned and managed by W & H Properties.

TaiPei 101

TaipeiTaipei 101 is a 106-floor building (5 floors underground and 101 above the ground) located in Taipei (Taiwan). The height of 509 meters makes it the second highest skyscraper in the world. 56 meters higher than the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). On July 21, 2007 was surpassed in height by Burj Dubai, which when completed will hold the title of world's tallest building.


The roof of Taipei 101 was completed on July 1, 2003. In a ceremony presided over by Mayor Ma Ying-jeou, the top was placed on October 17, 2003, thus allowing to overcome the height of the Petronas Towers by 50 meters.

Taipei 101 can withstand earthquakes of up to 7 degrees on the Richter scale and winds over 450 km/h. The important absorption capacity of this structure lies in a wind shock with 660 tonnes of metal plates which is located on floor 89, this is the larger and heavier worldwide. Is divided into 8 segments of 8 floors and is the only damper that is visible to the general public.

The Palm Jumeirah is constructed in the shape of a date palm tree and consists of three parts: a trunk, a crown with 17 fronds and a surrounding island that will form a growing breakwaters.

With a height of 321 meters, is the second highest hotel in the world (exceeded only by the Rose Rotana Hotel) and one of the most representative buildings hoteliers. It is located at sea on an artificial island located just 270 meters from the beach in the Persian Gulf, which is connected to shore by a road.

The building was started in 1994 and was officially launched on December 1, 1999. Its form is inspired by a sailing boat and is located in a specific area in order that your shadow does not cover the beach. At the highest point of the hotel is a heliport, which is used as a tennis court when they are not receiving helicopters.
